Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect on our websites (including studio.clevergoat.io and related subpages), for what purposes and for how long, and what rights you have in relation to your data.

The website operator and data controller is Clever Goat Services Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (short name: Clever Goat Services Kft.; registered office: 8300 Tapolca, Billege utca 1-3., ground floor, door 3; Hungarian company registration number: 19-09-525417; Hungarian tax number: 32929731-2-19; main activity: 6210 Computer programming; email: hello@clevergoat.io). The company was founded in 2025. Hereinafter: “Clever Goat” or “Service Provider”. The data you provide through contact forms or direct email (name, email address, optional phone number, message and any attachments) are used solely to respond to your enquiry, provide quotes and maintain communication. Technical log data (IP address, browser type, timestamps, certain cookie identifiers) are necessary to operate and secure the website.

The legal basis for processing is primarily the performance of pre-contractual steps and our legitimate interests (business communication and secure operation of the service), and in some cases your consent (for example for optional analytics or marketing cookies). We only retain your data for as long as necessary: contact data are usually kept for up to 2 years, log data for 6–12 months, and invoicing data for at least 8 years, as required by law.

The project planner on this site (Billy) walks you through a few questions and assembles a project brief from your answers. Your answers stay in your browser until you enter your email address at the end of the brief and send it to us. If you do send it, we process the email address and name you gave, the answers you selected, any note you wrote in your own words, and the indicative estimate shown on the page — in order to answer your enquiry and to quote, on the basis of steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract. The brief is passed to our customer relationship system (HubSpot), which acts as a processor, and is held there to answer your enquiry and to quote — handled like any other enquiry, for at most 2 years. Please do not enter special category data (for example health data) about yourself or others into the free-text field.

We may use processors such as hosting and email providers (including Microsoft Azure services), the HubSpot customer relationship system, as well as the Google Analytics measurement tool and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. These providers process data only for the purposes defined in their agreements and applicable privacy terms.

Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel remain blocked until you explicitly allow measurement in the cookie banner. Your choice is stored in your browser so the website can remember it. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

You have the right to request information about the data we process about you, to ask for rectification or deletion, to request restriction of processing, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to request data portability. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your rights have been infringed.
